The American Tree Farm System is a
national program of nearly 90,000 individuals and

forester when they are managed in a way that
protects watersheds, wildlife habitat, conserves
soil, provides recreational opportunities and
produces wood products. In Kansas, the American Tree
Farm System is operated by a State Tree
Farm Committee.
